ATI Announces 15% Increase in 2007 Earnings
Sales growth credited to a boost in manufacturing efficiencies brought ATI a 15% increase in 2007 earnings. Technology advancements in the custom cable assembly and wiring harness industries increased manufacturing efficiencies. Industries most impacted by these changes are the security, medical and telecommunications industries. Working under very demanding new specifications, ATI embraced these advancements to fulfill unique cabling and wiring harness solutions for customers around the world.
To support these technology advancements in wiring harness and custom cable assembly projects, ATI introduced a customer-focused manufacturing approach called Powered by Performance. This customer-focused manufacturing approach increases the efficiency of employees working on custom projects by helping them focus on top objectives customers identify when placing orders. These objectives include creating top-quality cabling and harnessing products, but extend the vision of an Associate to include close attention to:
- Project timing and a customer’s business needs.
- Specific application requirements.
- Adherence to specialized quality standards.
ATI has earned a reputation in the custom cabling and wire harnessing market for quality, even when market and business demands seem nearly impossible to meet. Proving successful in 2007, AT will continue the use of this customer-focused manufacturing approach, Powered by Performance, to achieve even greater team efficiencies and to meet even more demanding customer requirements in 2008.

ATI delivers more products in shorter periods of time by launching Powered by Performance a customer-focused manufacturing approach that helps plant employees understand how to best meet customer needs.
Success in the custom cable assembly and wiring harness business requires meeting very stringent specifications and quality demands. Too often what can happen is employees pay a lot of attention to specific work tasks, but don’t understand how the work they perform impacts other team members or contributes to meeting customer objectives. For years ATI has educated its manufacturing staff on the importance of working as a team and meeting customer expectations. Powered by Performance formalizes this practice within the organization and engages every team member in making a customer’s needs ATI’s top priority.

With franchise locations across the globe a worldwide logistics and distribution company counts on ATI to deliver top-quality copper cables to each new business site as the company expands. These unique pre-terminated cables are kitted for the client and installed on-site as part of its IT infrastructure to prepare each location for operation.

ATI Expands OEM Manufacturing Team
ATI announces the addition of new Associates to accommodate even more, large, higher-volume, and quick turn-around customer projects. In its over 14,000 square foot facility, ATI customizes and staffs each project line to meet the specific needs of each of its customers.

ATI Builds Cable Assemblies with Circular Connectors used in Military Security Applications
ATI builds high-end free-standing security cables with circular connectors for a military application. These cables have both free-standing elements and cables that are mounted in a fully-wired junction box. Special cable kits are built by ATI to help field technicians quickly and easily retrofit or repair cables on work sites. These kitted custom cable assemblies streamline field operations by delivering assemblies that meet exact specifications for each security application and location.
